Charles began his trading career in 1985 as a floor trader “local” at the Chicago Mercantile exchange. He has also worked at Cargill and ConAgra Foods where he was responsible for proprietary trading, over the counter derivatives, and risk management. Prior to joining JDHCO Charles was on the management team of an ethanol company with four plants and oversaw commodities risk management and commercial activities. Charles has a B.S. degree from Illinois State University and an M.B.A. from DePaul University. Since 2003, Charles has been an adjunct Professor at University of Nebraska at Omaha where he teaches “Investment Risk Management”.

Kim received a BA degree in Accounting from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. She was working as a grain clerk at Foxley Grain & Cattle Co. full-time while pursuing this degree. She was with Foxley Grain & Cattle from 1985 until the company was sold to Scoular in 1999, and had worked herself into the Controller position. Kim joined J.D. Heiskell in October of 2000 and works out of the Elkhorn, Nebraska office.
